These Terms govern your use of Lamr (the "Service"), an AI-assisted job application tracker and résumé/cover-letter tailoring tool. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Lamr helps you track job applications and generate tailored résumé and cover letter drafts using AI, based on a job description and your own résumé content that you provide. Lamr does not submit applications on your behalf, guarantee interviews or job offers, or verify the accuracy of any job posting you import.
During the current private-alpha period, accounts are created by invite only. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use Lamr.
Résumé and cover letter drafts are generated by a third-party AI model based on the information you supply. You are responsible for reviewing every generated document before using it: for accuracy, for tone, and for making sure nothing misrepresents your actual experience. Lamr is designed not to fabricate metrics or credentials that aren't present in your source material, but you remain solely responsible for what you ultimately submit to an employer.
Some features consume credits, and paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method via our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Unused credits don't carry over between cycles and aren't refundable except where required by law.

You retain ownership of the résumé content, job descriptions, and other material you provide. You grant Lamr a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service for you (including sending relevant portions to our AI provider to generate drafts). We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that generated documents will be error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that using Lamr will lead to any particular employment outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lamr and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any employment or financial outcome connected to a document generated here.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
